I would like to make more people see the progress of technology. And I believe the Robotic care companions have a big impact in the future so I chosed this topic.

Now, this technology is very safe. For example, Japan’s Nurse Robots are awesome. Right now in Japan, a lost of nurse robots already working in the hospital. Like move patients, weight stuffs and lift the patient from the bed to the chair. Nurse robots are playing a big role because of lacking healthcare workers. It relieves stress and fatigue for nurses.
The older people quality of life is a hot issue. More and more people are focus on the health and happiness of old people. This has prompted companies to focus on medical technology. The nurse robotic is a good way. The Industrial Science and Technology Agency (AIST) has developed a mental care robot, PARO, which gives people a sense of stability and provides intimacy to the elderly. This kind of robot solving the health and happiness of old people.

what is nurse robot? The nurse robot is a kind of smart robot that commonly used in the medical field. The nurse robot is an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can be learning from experience and environment. And it can build new ability based on the knowledge (Rouse). The smart robot also can work and study with people. For example, Baxter is a smart robot, produced by Rethink Robotics of Boston. Baxter can work alongside assembly line worker in factories and often working highly repetitive task like precision packing. The mean is nurse robot will east to learn how to look after patients in the hospital.
As the population ages, hospitals lack more resources. So hospitals and old people needs more nurse robots to relieve the pressure in the future.

Nurse robots have a big effect on society. In a technologically advanced society, people will live longer and this situation will lead to an increase in the elderly population. Nurse robots will take a big part of pressure from hospitals. There are some advantage about nurse robots. For example, robots helping people share the pressure, robots can help people who not have time to look after the old people. Remind people to take medicine, eating food and exercise. Help doctor monitor the patients and report patients on time. And relieve hospital resources(ARONSON, 2014).
This technology is very improtant. The nurse robot is ‘carers of the future’. Because the robots can work 24 hours everyday and provide complex and comprehensive care. Also,efficient and ready to provide physical condition(THE CONVERSATION, 2018).
